Instead of taking graphics into advertising, Krone took advertising into the area graphic design had taken for itself: the annual report and accounts. Pages of large text and caption alternated with bleed pictures, but not of president; vice president; vice president with minority credentials; installation; factory exterior. The duotone pictures were of service guys: cleaners, telephone and delivery men, redolent of August Sander or Irving Penn's tradesmen.'
